KOŠARAC: ANY SOLUTION MUST BE RESULT OF INTERNAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN DOMESTIC POLITICAL ACTORS

SARAJEVO, JANUARY 23 /SRNA/ - Any solution in BiH must be the result of an internal agreement between domestic political actors, said the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers Staša Košarac at today's meeting in Sarajevo with the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen and the Prime Ministers of the Netherlands and Croatia, Mark Rutte and Andrej Plenković, respectively.

Košarac has said that Republika Srpska is a constructive partner on BiH's European path and is dedicated to the implementation of 14 key priorities from the European Commission's Opinion. That is why it is important that the agreement from Laktaš be fully implemented, and we expect that from the FBiH partners. Srpska thereby demonstrates constructiveness, but we need a partnership from the FBiH," Košarac posted on Instagram. He reminded that Republika Srpska insists on the passage of the law on the Constitutional Court of BiH and the departure of foreign judges from this institution and that it strongly advocates the closure of the OHR, which must be a priority on the EU path. "What kind of country is it where an illegitimate foreigner makes laws and thereby violates the Constitution? Is this a European standard and how is it even possible to talk about progress towards the EU in such a situation? This practice must be stopped as a matter of urgency. Show that you want European standards in BiH and abolish the OHR," said Košarac.
